Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
Service description
Chitti is an AI-powered call screening service. By using Chitti, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your responsibilities
- You must provide a valid phone number and keep your account information accurate
- You are responsible for configuring call forwarding on your carrier
- You must not use Chitti to intercept calls you are not authorised to receive
- You must comply with applicable laws regarding call recording and interception in your jurisdiction
Call recording and transcription
Chitti records and transcribes screening conversations to generate summaries and route calls. By using the service, you acknowledge that calls forwarded to Chitti will be processed by AI systems. You are responsible for ensuring you have any required consent from callers under applicable law.
Service availability
Chitti is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Call routing depends on third-party telephony providers (Twilio) and AI services (ElevenLabs, Google Gemini) which may experience outages outside our control.
Limitation of liability
Chitti is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for missed calls, misclassified callers, or any damages arising from use or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Account termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted from our systems.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Chitti after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
